Stop the Stigma Day
Stop the Stigma Day was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with compassion, courage, and hope.
The team at The Bridge Recovery Center was honored to stand alongside Malden Overcoming Addiction as we worked together to uplift our shared mission: ending the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery in our community.
Seeing so many people wearing the blue ribbon in support meant so much. Each ribbon represented understanding, solidarity, and a commitment to treating addiction with dignity, empathy, and respect.
Because of open conversations like these, individuals find the strength to step forward, rise above stigma, and feel empowered in their personal recovery journey. When we speak openly and support one another, we create a community where healing and hope can truly thrive.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared their voice, and supported this important cause. While yesterday was meaningful, the work continues. We look forward to continuing this movement with all of you throughout the year as we keep working together to stop the stigma and support recovery for all.

Stop the Stigma Day – Women’s Networking Workshop

We also had the honor of hosting a powerful Women’s Networking Workshop in partnership with the Malden Chamber of Commerce and Malden Overcoming Addiction.
Instead of traditional networking, participants rotated through conversation stations, sparking real connection and exploring how our words and mindset influence how we show up as leaders.
The result? Thoughtful dialogue, plenty of laughter, and a celebration of the strengths we’re already bringing to our work. We also learned about the impactful resources the Bridge provides for individuals and families in recovery.
A big thanks to our mindset coach, Cacilia, who will continue to volunteer and share her incredible energy at the BRC!
Her next Mindset Workshops will be on Monday, May 4th @ 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM, with 45-minute sessions.
This event was a powerful reminder that progress often starts with pausing to recognize it, and that community is the absolute best.
